Ross & Charlotte’s Wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor 🎉

Let me tell you about Ross and Charlotte’s epic wedding day at Hogarth’s Stone Manor! This one had it all—love, laughs, and some serious moves on the dance floor (but more on that later). As one of the recommended photographers at the venue, I’ve been lucky to shoot here a fair few times, but every wedding brings its own vibe, and this one was buzzing.
The Perfect Setting: Drawing Room Ceremony
The day kicked off with the ceremony in the Drawing Room. This space is just perfect for intimate moments and big emotions. From the moment Ross stood at the front (pretending he wasn’t nervous—he totally was) to the second Charlotte walked in, looking absolutely stunning thanks to the magic of Makeup by Mary, the room was electric.
The vows were heartfelt, with just the right amount of banter (a must at any wedding, in my opinion). And let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, except maybe for the ushers—typical.
Garden Room Vibes
After the “I dos,” everyone headed to the Garden Room for the reception and the rest of the day’s celebrations. This room is bright, modern, and perfect for a good old knees-up. The vibe was relaxed, with everyone catching up, sipping drinks, and sneaking mini sausage rolls from the canapés tray.
Now, I’m not saying the speeches were the funniest I’ve ever heard, but Ross’s best man, Phil, had some absolute corkers. Charlotte’s dad, meanwhile, nailed the mix of sentimentality and humour. There’s always that one uncle who tries to steal the mic, but luckily this time, we dodged it (you know who you are, Uncle Bob).
Photos with Personality
One thing I love about Hogarths Stone Manor is the variety it offers for photos. We took advantage of the gorgeous gardens and snuck outside for some fun, relaxed couple shots. These two made it easy—they couldn’t stop laughing and just had this brilliant chemistry that shines through in every photo.
We even managed to get the whole wedding party involved for some group shots. Let’s just say getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time is a bit like herding cats, but that’s half the fun, right?
Why I Love Shooting at Hogarths Stone Manor
As a photographer, I can’t rave enough about Hogarths Stone Manor. The team there is fantastic, and the space is super versatile, which makes my job so much fun. Being a recommended photographer also means I know the venue inside out, so I can find the best spots for every kind of shot, whether it’s golden hour couple photos or candid moments during the speeches.
Massive Thanks to Ross & Charlotte
Ross and Charlotte, you two absolutely smashed it. Thank you for letting me capture your day—it was such a laugh from start to finish. Your friends and family were a brilliant bunch, and it’s weddings like this that remind me why I love what I do.
If you’re planning your wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor (or anywhere else, really) and want someone to document your day with a mix of creativity, humour, and all the feels, give me a shout. Let’s make it happen!
