A Perfect Stone Manor wedding celebration!

Laura and John were married before they booked their celebration at the beautiful Hogarth’s Stone Manor in Worcestershire. They had married during Covid and wanted to wait to be able to celebrate their marriage in style and they did just that. Although, we lost the light early, this did not stop us capturing their evening perfectly.

HOGARTH’S STONE MANOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographing at Hogarth’s Stone Manor in the winter is great because they set up the venue so well! I began the day around 4pm, as the sun was setting and focused first on the room decorating which were just perfect for this occasion. Laura and John hired the awesome ‘The Wedding House’ to decorate the room. It was complimented by subtle Christmas decorations that worked really well. Here are some shots of the room. You can find more examples of room decorations here if you would like to know more – Worcestershire wedding photographer.

WINTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IDEAS

We did not have lots of time due to a rain cloud setting in and it was quite cold for people to stand outside. So, I decided to set up a few shots outside the entrance of Stone Manor. This was decorated with a beautiful Christmas arch which helped to make the images so much more special. I also added in a sparkler shot which is always a favourite winter wedding photography. As a bit of a tip, if you are planning to do a sparkler shot, it is always best to purchase giant sparklers for wedding photography. They last longer than the cheap smaller ones that always go out. Here are some shots from outside the Stone Manor reception area entrance.

THE EVENING WEDDING PARTY IN FULL SWING!

After we took the formal photos, it was time for the big entrance to their wedding party! John and Laura had booked their wedding celebration to be in the garden room at Stone Manor. They decided to have the speeches before food, and I just love to hear all the stories people tell of the couple. Spanner (the best man) was so funny and did an amazing job! Laura and John’s fathers also both spoke which made this moment all the more special for their wedding evening. We then took some more shots next to the awesome wedding flower wall! which really helped with the formal shots as it made the perfect backdrop. Here are some shots from the evening, including a deck shot from the awesome DJ work from Paul at Blue Diamond. I highly recommend Paul for an amazing DJ experience!
