Pippa & Jamie’s Beautiful Outdoor Wedding at Manor Hill House, Worcestershire

What an incredible day we had this weekend at Manor Hill House celebrating the wedding of Pippa and Jamie. Honestly, it was one of those weddings where everything just came together perfectly — the people, the atmosphere, the light, and the weather (which played along beautifully all day).
As a Worcestershire wedding photographer, I get to work at so many lovely venues across the region, but Manor Hill House really does have something special about it. Nestled in the rolling countryside, just a short drive from Bromsgrove, it is such a great choice for couples looking for a relaxed, modern venue with gorgeous outdoor spaces and stunning views.
The Perfect Outdoor Ceremony at Manor Hill House
Pippa and Jamie chose to have an outdoor ceremony in the garden at Manor Hill House, and it was such a brilliant decision. The space is ideal for couples who want to keep things natural and intimate while still feeling like a big celebration.
The weather could not have been better — that perfect balance of warm but not too hot, with soft cloud cover taking the edge off the sun without making it dull. As a photographer, you could not ask for a more flattering light for an outdoor ceremony.
Guests gathered on the lawn, surrounded by the Worcestershire countryside, and the whole thing felt so personal and heartfelt. You could feel the connection between Pippa and Jamie, and there was such a lovely sense of calm and excitement in the air as they said their vows.
Relaxed, Natural Wedding Photography
I always approach weddings with a focus on relaxed, documentary-style photography — capturing the real moments as they happen, without staging or forcing anything. Pippa and Jamie were completely on board with that vibe, and it made the day flow so naturally.
From the hugs and happy tears before the ceremony to the laughter and joy throughout the afternoon, I was able to quietly document all those little moments that tell the true story of their day.
One of my favourite things about photographing weddings at Manor Hill House is the variety of spaces available for your couple shots. After the ceremony, we had plenty of time to explore the grounds, taking in the gardens, the countryside views, and of course, heading out into the wheat field.
Couple Portraits in the Wheat Field
The wheat field near Manor Hill House provided the perfect setting for some relaxed portraits of Pippa and Jamie. They were both brilliant at just being themselves — no awkward posing, just walking together, laughing, and enjoying a bit of time away from the buzz of the day.
The soft tones of the wheat against the light sky gave the photos a beautiful, natural feel. It is always these quiet moments between the two of you that make for some of the most meaningful images.
Making the Most of the Grounds at Manor Hill House
If you are looking at Worcestershire wedding venues and want somewhere that offers a mix of modern comforts and countryside charm, Manor Hill House is well worth a visit. The venue has lovely indoor spaces, but it really shines when you take advantage of the outdoor areas.
The open fields, garden spaces, and rural backdrops give you so much freedom for your photography. Whether you want a few gentle couple portraits or you are keen to head off and explore for a bit, there are so many options here that never feel overused or staged.
Plus, the team at Manor Hill House are fantastic — helpful, organised, and clearly passionate about making each wedding feel personal.

A Day Full of Energy, Laughter, and Love
From the very start of the day through to the evening celebrations, the energy of this wedding was spot on. There was so much laughter, genuine connection between guests, and a real sense of celebration. You could tell that Pippa and Jamie had put so much thought into making the day feel like them — relaxed, fun, and all about spending time with the people they love.
As a Worcestershire wedding photographer, these are exactly the kinds of weddings I love to capture. No pressure, no big performance — just two people committing to each other in a way that feels true to who they are, surrounded by their favourite people.
