Beth and Connor’s Magical Wedding Day: A Tale of Love and Laughter

April 20, 2024, marked the unforgettable wedding of Beth and Connor, a day filled with joy, love, and memories to capture! I just had to blog about it! Beginning my journey to the venue, to capture the preparations, I soon found myself driving through the scenic pathways leading to the esteemed Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club. With every twist and turn, I was reminded why this location remains one of my favourite wedding venues for couples looking for one that just has it all!

Morning Preparations: A Blend of Excitement and Anticipation

The morning buzzed excitedly as Beth and Connor prepared for their big day at the Forest of Arden. The preparations were filled with fun, nerves, men in pants and bright red lipstick! Beth, radiant in her wedding gown, shared giggles and champagne with her bridesmaids while Connor and his groomsmen donned their suits, adjusting each other’s bow ties and sharing tales of past adventures… in their pants!

The Ceremony: Exchanging Vows at St Mary the Church of our Lady, Merevale

I love being a Forest of Arden Wedding Photographer, especially when photographing at a church for the ceremony before the reception. As the clock neared 1 pm, guests gathered at the quaint St Mary the Church of our Lady in Merevale. The historic church, with its beautiful stained glass and serene ambience, provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Beth’s entrance was nothing short of breathtaking; every step down the aisle was a picture-perfect moment, capturing the hearts of all who watched.

The vows were heartfelt and sincere, echoing through the ancient walls of the church. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Beth and Connor promised to cherish each other for a lifetime, sealing their vows with a kiss. After the ceremony we stayed to capture lots of family and friends before travelling back to the Forest of Arden for the rest of their celebrations.

The Celebration: A Festive Return to the Forest of Arden

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests returned to the Forest of Arden to continue the celebration. The venue was transformed into a fairy-tale setting, with elegant decor designed by Beth who is a wedding co-ordinator as her profession, so everything was just perfectly decorated. Speeches were delivered with humor and warmth, each one highlighting the unique bond that Beth and Connor share.

Unforgettable Moments and Heartfelt Goodbyes

Beth and Connor’s wedding was not just a celebration of their love, but a testament to the joy and beauty that comes when two hearts find their match. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and the promise of many joyful tomorrows. As they embark on this new journey together, we wish them all the happiness in the world.

After the speeches, we spent some time around the grounds of the Forest of Arden. This place is so perfect for creating images surrounded by countryside and the stunning backdrop of the gold courses. Here are some shots we managed to take during a brief walk around the grounds,
