Lindsay and Liam were married at the Barns Hotel Cannock and what a day they had! I love being a Barns hotel wedding photographer because there are so many great opportunities to photograph at this unique venue. Also, it is always a plus because with the weddings i've photographed there, a lot of the couples decide to go visit Cannock Chase to have some of their shots! This is brilliant because there are so many creative opportunities for me as a wedding photographer in Cannock to maximise the area and get some great shots.
Getting ready for a Barns Hotel Cannock wedding
I started first shooting Lindsay when she was getting ready with her bridal party. Lindsay and Liam booked me to be their Barns Hotel Cannock Wedding Photographer, online after they saw one of my previous weddings and they absolutely said they loved the images I took at Cannock Chase and wanted this for their wedding. Lyndsey was getting ready in one of the hotel rooms. It was an awesome environment! loads of laughter and fun as soon as I walked through the door. I could see Lindsay could not wait to get married!

I then met with Liam and his groomsmen in the bar downstairs. The barns hotel Cannock is a great wedding venue, it's quirky with many opportunities for people who are looking to have a small to medium sized wedding and the barn has great bar areas, which was where Liam was able to have a few pints before his big moment. I was able to spent some brief time with Liam in on of my favourite rooms in the Barns Hotel. Although, I only had a couple of minutes with Liam I was able to maximise the beautiful window light to capture his awesome wedding suit!

Wedding at the Barns Hotel, Cannock
The Barns provides a perfect venue for weddings. Their establishment offers two rooms that have been authorised for civil ceremonies. The Farmhouse offers a suite of rooms suitable for hosting a wedding breakfast and evening party, complete with a private reception bar.
The ceremony is held in the top of the barns, which I love because it has some really nice natural beams hanging down. This wedding was full with seats, so I could see that it was going to be a busy ceremony. It ran really smoothly and it was absolutely brilliant with the staff at the Barns Hotel Cannock being really good and all were eager to make sure that the day ran really well! The registrars were also brilliant and made the ceremony seem effortless.
Cannock chase wedding photography
After the ceremony we were able to capture some group shots before the rain started briefly, and because I knew that Liam and Lindsay wanted to go to Cannock Chase we made a decision to go a bit later so that the rain could stop and also the sun would be a nice place in the sky to really capture the awesomeness of Cannock Chase and the trees. So, after the meal and speeches were over we head after in my car and we drove straight to Cannock Chase. We spent about 20 minutes there so we didn't have that much time but I was able to capture some fantastic photos and we even got a great photo with the Gruffalo! I highly recommend anyone who is getting married at the Barns Hotel Cannock because if you want your wedding photography to really have an impact then I definitely suggest to make sure you take some time to go to Cannock Chase to get some photos.
When we got back the rain started which was great because we've got all the photos that Lindsay and Liam wanted and we were able to then just enjoy the rest of the evening and have a party! This was a great wedding and I loved every minute of it and I really am so happy that Liam and Lindsey hired me to be there Barns Hotel Cannock wedding photographer.
