Stanbrook Abbey

Stanbrook Abbey was once a 16th century Grade 2 listed monastery. Set in 26 acres of gardens, recently it was renovated costing £4.2m and is one of Worcestershire’s best kept secrets. Providing luxury hotel facilities, and beautiful rooms surrounded by countryside, Stanbrook is a perfect venue for a wedding

The manor house is where brides choose to get ready for their big day. It is such a beautiful place with rooms throughout catered for hair and make-up, dresses to be hung, and breakfasts to be eaten. Whatever you need to get ready for your big moment, this cottage has it all! Well worth checking out if you are getting ready at Stanbrook.

The Abbey has one of the most amazing halls I have ever photographed in. It is just beautiful. Although perfect all times of the day, my favourite time is just before the sun is setting, after couples have had their meal and speeches and guests are getting ready for the evening celebrations. Having some time in the Callow Great Hall is a nice time to have a short break from everything and just enjoy having  time alone and capture some great shots.

St Annes Hall is another beautiful room to consider as part of your wedding day. It has a capacity of up to 95 guests and is great for receptions or evening celebrations. You also have direct access to the outside area with seating and fire pits, perfect for light evenings and outside celebrations.

The Garden Pavilion holds up to 300 guests and is the largest room at the Abbey. I have spent so many fun packed evenings in this room! The DJ set up is perfect especially with the additional dance floor.  I have photographed so many amazing moments in this room including pole dancers!

Stanbrook Abbey is the perfect for wedding venue! I love every time I am there because there is place you can't take an amazing photograph! Whether I am in the Bridal manor taking prep shots, or wrapping up a wedding in the Abbey as the sunsets through the stain glass windows. It is just perfect. Here are some shots around the grounds that I love to take couples to have some shots, with some both inside and outside examples.
