We just made history at Grand Central!

I have just got back from a wedding at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham town centre and I have been so blown away by the whole event, I just had to share this blog with you!!

I met Alex in a bar in Sutton to discuss her wedding requirements and we hit it off straight away! I knew that Alex + Luke were going to be an amazing couple to photograph.

One of the requirements Alex made was that she wanted to walk somewhere near New Street to take some shots. The wedding was on a Saturday and I knew that Birmingham would be busy and a bit crazy! Perfect for some creative shots! So, I approached Grand Central (New Street Station) and asked if it would be ok to photograph the couple there. After a few calls, and speaking with the manager, I got the go ahead!

I was so encouraged because I was told by the station that they have never had a bride and groom shoot. We were creating history!

I had about 10 minutes to do the shoot as we didn't want to cause too much disruption, so I set up the day before so I knew exactly what lighting to use and where to take the main shot.

Here are some of the shots we got from Grand Central

When the main Shots were taken it was time to make a quick getaway back to the hotel!

Back at the hotel, we could get back to normality and enjoy the rest of the day. I was still buzzing after what we had just done! Here are some more images from the day

Matt from the Birmingham wedding videographer (Ps Visuals) working his magic! I was with these guys all day and I was really impressed with their work! Here is a link to their website.

Ganga make-up & hair team did the bride and bridesmaids make-up and the lady was so talented! We had so much fun. A very chilled and relaxed make-up artist!

Thanks also to Bad apple hair dressers for allowing me to take shots of Alex getting ready. You did an amazing job of her hair!
