A beautiful Forest of Arden Wedding

Courtney and George were married at All Saints church in Sheep Magna, and celebrated the rest of their wedding day at the Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club. We met a few years ago at an Open evening, and they booked me as their Forest of Arden Wedding Photographer, but then sadly the dreaded Covid happened, so their big day was pushed back a few years. Thankfully, after a date change they were able to go ahead with their day, and what a beautiful and perfect day it was!

Bridal preparation at the Forest of Arden

My day started with photographing Courtney and her bridal party at the Forest. Her hair was created by Helen Crews Hair and make-up by the amazing Lauren Milner. This was my first time working with Lauren, and she really is a super talent. I can definitely recommend you looking her if you need a make-up person. Courteney had been going since 6am, and when I arrived I could see that the excitement was building! Although, despite this Courtney was super chilled, and took everything in her stride. Here are some shots from the preparations.

The First look moment

A beautiful moment I was able to capture was the Courtney's father got his chance to see his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. This was of course a very emotional moment for the both of them. I love capturing these special times.

All Saints Wedding at Sheep Magna

Courtney and George had chosen to be married in their local village of Sheep Magna. This church was lovely and had a perfect small church feel to it. The vicar was brilliant and ran a really good service. This was my first time at this church and I really enjoyed capturing their marriage here. I love a good church wedding!

Forest of Arden Marque celebrations.

Returning to the Forest I first took some shots of the beautifully decorated Marquee. It look amazing! The room was decorated by Bees Nees Floral Design who decorated and set up the whole room. I can recommend these guys to anyone who is getting married at the Forest of Arden. They can provide anything you need for you big day! Here are some shots of the room.

Forest of Arden Wedding photography

I have been a wedding photographer last the Forest Arden for over 7 years now and I love being here every time! The place is packed full of photography opportunities and the hotel and grounds are just perfect for any occasion. I can highly recommend the Forest of Arden as a stunning venue to get married at. If you would like some more information on the venue you can visit my Forest of Arden Wedding page here.

The Singing Waiters fun!

I was informed on the day that Courtney and George had secretly booked singing waiters Sian Pattison Music, to entertain their guests during their meal. These guys were really great and so much fun! They sang all the classics, like Sweet Caroline, and 500 miles where everyone got up out of their chairs to dance in a line around the Marquee. Here are some shots from the entertainment.

The Forest of Arden Photography opportunities

After the meal and singing waiter fun, I was able to take Courtney and George around the grounds of the Forest of Arden and have some time to photograph the two of them. I love this time as it gives the couple 20 minutes away from everyone else and gives them the chance to be alone together, which is usually the first chance they get during their day. Below are some shots around the grounds of The Forest of Arden.

I also want to mention the always superb Sound Kicks Events. These guys nail it everyone! They can provide all your entertainment requirements and always produce top quality whether it is a DJ set up, LED dance floor with dry ice, Magic mirrors or photo booths, these guys have it all and I can honestly highly recommend them as the best in the business!! Well worth checking out for all your entertainment needs.
